Being a disciple of the late Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj Ji, Karamjeet Madonna has had the honor of performing under his guidance at various prestigious venues. Her deep-rooted connection with the classical arts has taken her to numerous dance and drama festivals, including Bharat Rang Mahotsav, Jashne Bachpan, Vasanthotsav, Bal Sangam, Sangam Kala, Mohan Rakesh Theatre Festival, Sangeet Natak Akademi's Vimal Yatra, and many more. Her performances have been celebrated for their depth, expression, and authenticity, reflecting the rich heritage of Indian classical dance.

Beyond dance, Karamjeet has also made a mark in the world of theatre. As a theatre actress, she has performed in numerous plays, bringing powerful characters to life with her compelling acting. Some of her notable roles include Draupadi in Maharathi, Portia in Merchant of Venice, Mainavati in Saiyan Bhaye Kotwal, In and as Swapnapriya, Anandi in Balika Vadhu-the play and Chhanda in Ballabhpur Ki Roopkatha. Throughout her theatre career, she has worked alongside distinguished theatre personalities and has been associated with esteemed institutions such as Theatre-In-Education (TIE) at the National School of Drama (NSD) and Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts.

Her versatility extends beyond acting and dance—she has also delivered captivating dancing as well as singing performances on various prestigious stages across India. With a career spanning thousands of stage performances, Karamjeet has truly mastered the art of live performance, making the stage her second home since childhood.

One of her most remarkable achievements in theatre was being the lead actress in Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince, the grand Bollywood musical staged at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. She played both Sonali and Laachi, two significant roles in the production, showcasing her ability to blend dance, drama, and storytelling seamlessly.
